Joyce A. Grady, 81, of Oregon, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 26, 1929 to Floyd and Clara (Sass) Higley. On June 28, 1952, she married Joe Grady. Joyce was a homemaker and worked as a secretary at Martin Luther Lutheran Church where she was a lifelong member. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family. Joyce is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joe; daughters, Janet (Fred) Roberts, Karen (Steve) Shingledecker, and Kathy (Ron) Facer; grandchildren, Kristina (Christopher) Newman, Kelly (Jack) Braden, Billie Jo Roberts, Michael Shingledecker, Rebecca (Matthew) Philpott, Kimberly Facer, Jill (Dustin) Kirk, and Danny Facer; great-grandchildren, Jaelyn and Kendall Braden, and Laney and Connor Newman; and brother, Donald (Doris) Higley. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, April 20, from 3:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
