Joyce L. Landis, 47, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 16, 2010. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on December 3, 1962 to Leo and Lorine (Duncan) McCarthy. Joyce was a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society and loved collecting antiques, especially Indian artifacts. Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Jim; children, Jimmy (Christina) Frazier, Laurel (Eric) Salmon, Jennifer Launder, Daniel (Heather) Launder, Matthew Landis, Dorothy Landis and Jenny Maly; grandchildren, Ethan, Hunter, Seth, Toby, Riley, Michael and Alijandra; siblings, Donna (Don) Launder, Diane Rafertty, Brenda McCarthy, Paul McCarthy, Leo Elvin McCarthy. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place in North Oregon Cemetery.
