Joyce E. Reese, 87, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Joyce was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 2, 1931 to Bronson and Hazel Blakeley. On February 3, 1951, she married the love of her life Clyde Reese Jr. Joyce was a longtime member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ where she served with the funeral luncheon ministry and was a member of the widows group. For many years, Joyce coached and played softball with Oregon Rec and was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan. Joyce is survived by her son, Tracy (Amy) Reese; daughter-in-law, Rosi Reese; grandchildren, Brandi (Tim) Rooks, Lindsay (Joe) Adamski, Jami (Alex) Hampton, Jordyn (Rick) Morrison, Jake (fiancée Kaeley) Reese, Michael (fiancée Caitlin) Reese, Jenifer Reese, Matthew Reese, and Emily Reese; great-grandchildren, Addi, Brooklyn, Eleanor, Finn, Jaidyn, Kayla, Kloe, Nate, Theodore, Todd, and 1 on the way; great-great granddaughter, Luna; and sister-in-law, Mary Blakeley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde; son, Mark Reese; and brother, Elvin Blakeley. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment: Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Echo Meadows Church of Christ.
