Juan Perez, 93, of Genoa, OH passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 in Fremont Memorial Hospital. Mr. Perez was born in Dolores, TX on October 26, 1917 to Estaban and Dolores (Amaro) Perez. He was employed by the Fremont Foundry as a laborer for many years. Juan was a member of the Genoa Christian Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Surviving are his daughters, Hilda (Jose) Escobar, Rebecca (Raul) Rodriguez; sons, John Jr. and Gilbert (Carol) Perez; sister, Aurella Costello; granddaughter, raised by him and Jesusa, Tina Mims; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jesusa; sons, Armando and Richard and 3 brothers. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, OH, on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. Prayer services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and proceed to Genoa Christian Church for funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Clay Township Cemetery.
