Juan Jose Rivera, 43 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at San Vincente Mercy Hospital on 21st de Mayo, year of "Our Lord" 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Juan was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 2nd, 1979 (Dia de Los Muertos) to Miguel and Trinidad (Saenz) Rivera.

Juan was an entrepreneur, avid gamer and lover of friends. He most recently was a valued member of Spartan Logistics. He was a lifelong carpenter with skills second to none and a pretty damn good pool player and one hell of a chess player. I wouldn't say the best in the family, but he would! He was a Diehard dedicated Madden connoisseur from Atari to Sega to Mario and Luigi. He was my Luigi. Many were unaware of his philanthropic endeavors. The world wasn't aware of the Legacy that was about to unfold in his life, but the world will most certainly see it in his death. The W Foundation. Legends never die even the ugly ones.

Surviving are his children, Sweet Baby J, his one and only princess, Nieve, the most beautiful ballerina ever. Last but not least his little papacito, "Ese"quiel. Beautiful mothers of his children, Nikkole Webster Brandberry aka " Weda"; Jessica Sierra "Sapo" and Leonor "the other weda"; parents Miguel y Trinidad; siblings, Maria and Miguel Jr.; nieces Diamante and Christina; nephews, Jesus and Romeo. Juan is the first in our immediate family to lead the gauntlet into the Great Beyond. He is preceded in death by great grandparents, LaRaza and Fidelia Sanchez, and too many other friends and family members to mention.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury and where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
