Obituary

Juana "Jane" Garcia, 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away January 12, 2009 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico on February 15, 1928 to Desidado and Teresa (Camarrillo) Garcia. Jane had been employed for 10 years as a nurse's aid at the Little Sisters of the Poor and at St. Vincent's Hospital as an x-ray technician for 5 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Jane was the best mother in the world. Surviving are her children, Eliseo "Al" Garcia Jr., Gary (Ann) Garcia, Gloria Meeks, Robert (Melanie) Garcia, Ruth (Richard) Molinski, Eduardo (Sheri) Garcia, Barbara (Robert) Johnson, Miguel (Lindy) Garcia and Maria (Jason) Wellman; 29 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; 5 sisters; 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eliseo Z. Garcia Sr.; daughter, Ruth Garcia; son, Armando Garcia; great grandson, Shawn Lee Rader Jr.; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-9 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 9 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions sympathy in Jane's memory can be made to her family. Visitation: Thursday, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Services: Saturday in St. Thomas Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment: Restlawn Memorial Park
