Juanita Dabney, 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 11, 2012 due to of Alzheimer'™s at the Lutheran Home at Toledo, Ohio. She was born in Knoxville, TN on December 21, 1926 to Squire and Myrtle (Leach) Nance. Juanita was a member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church, Walbridge, Ohio. She was a loving caring mom and grandmother and great grandmother. Her family all raved about Mamaw'™s famous biscuits and gravy. Juanita would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. Surviving are her son, Charles (Teresa); daughter, Carol (Jerry) Goad; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Lena Roberts and Mary Louise Hawkins. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey; brother, Edward Nance; sisters, Ruth Nance and Gladys Foust. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Athens Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Breckman St., Walbridge, Ohio on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Lutheran Home at Toledo for all their special care. Memorials may be directed to the Athens Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
