Judi Holland, 71, of Northwood, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Judi was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 29, 1942 to Richard I. and Pearl L. (Hiatt) Holland. Judi was a 1960 graduate of Waite High School and graduated from Davis Business College. She was employed at Rad-Mar Press and retired from Daimler Chrysler in 2004. Judi was a lifetime member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and volunteered at Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending the many flowers she grew around her home. Judi was an avid bowler and loyal Cleveland Indians fan. She also enjoyed visits to the Hollywood Casino. Her true passion was spending time with her nieces and nephews who brought her much joy.
Surviving are her siblings, Karen (Paul) Summers, Rick (Kathy) Holland, Bud (Chris Sr.) Holland, Ed (Marsha) Holland, Bob (Chris Jr.) Holland, and Loni (Phil) Bambino; nieces and nephews, Joe, Kelly, Tommy, Rico, Shon, Mike, Chip, Heather, Missy, Justin, Anthony, Lauren, and Lindsay; along with 23 great nieces and nephews. Judi is also survived by many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Amanda Holland; and brother-in-law, Tom Moore.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 am in Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 601 Nevada Street, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Judi'™s memory may be directed to Martin Luther Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
