Judith A. Elekonich, 75, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at home in Genoa, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 31, 1940 to Harold and Hilda (Stanton) Hudson. Judith graduated from Waite High School in 1958. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls. Surviving are her children, Mark (Kathy) Welker, Matt (Lisa) Welker and Timothy Welker; step-daughters, Bridget (Robert) Boellner and Genevieve Fisher; step-son, Michael Elekonich Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda, Shannon and Kayden; sister, Diane Kreuger; and companion, Orville Purdy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Elekonich; and her parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5 from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. (east of I-280). Interment will be private. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
