Judith A. Tatro, 72 of Rossford, Ohio passed away Friday October9, 2020 at Promedica Toledo Hospital with her loving family by her side. Judy was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 16, 1948 to Lowell and Myrtle (Avery) Bolander. Judy graduated from Waite High School in 1966 and a year later married the love of her life Robert J. Tatro Jr. Judy and her husband were the proud owners of Bob's Concession for over 35 years where they employed and provided "first-time jobs" to many family members and neighborhood teenagers. However, the occupation she most cherished was mom to her two children. Judy was a life-long member of the O.E.S. Yondota Chapter where she held many different officer positions. In recent years she enjoyed attending meetings of the East Toledo Historical Society. She was an avid baseball and NHRA fan. She loved listening, watching and attending Detroit Tigers baseball games and spent many winters in Florida attending their spring training games. Judy was extremely artistic and creative and that was demonstrated inher love of ceramics, painting, and other crafts. She was also known for decorating her home inside and out for every holiday season. Over the years she adopted numerous feline companions and provided a caring sanctuary where they were spoiled. Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Robert J; children Robert (Linda) Tatro III, Michelle (Tony) Dalton; granddaughter, Lesley and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Larry & Thomas Bolander. Private family visitation services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date where all family and friends will be invited to join together and share their memories of Judy. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Judy's memory are asked to consider Martin Luther Lutheran Church or O.E.S. Yondota Chapter
