Julia Helen Domini, 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at her home in the arms of her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 23, 1924 to Hungarian-born Vincent and Anna (Vernal) Fuleky, eighth of their 9 children. After losing their parents, the five children managed to survive on their own during the Depression even though their elder sister Agnes was only 18 years old. She worked several small jobs to help support the family including being a switchboard operator at Riverside Hospital.
Julia dedicated her life to being the very best wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her husband and children never doubted her love and support. She treated her children's spouses and friends as though they were her own. Julia provided a warm and inviting home that she thoroughly enjoyed decorating for each holiday. Bilingual, she valued her Hungarian heritage exemplified by the extraordinary ethnic dishes she cooked and baked.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 60 years, David Jr., and siblings Vincent Fuleky, James Fuleky, Mary Komives, Agnes Chorba, Anthony Fuleky, and baby Anna. She is survived by her children, Robert D. (Linda Marie) Domini of Perrysburg, Ohio; Linda (Luke Black) Webb of Maumee, Ohio; and Cynthia (Timothy) Holt of Holland, Ohio; grandchildren, Anthony Siciliano (fiancée, Debi Freye, Nicole Philippi (Victor), Aaron Domini (Rachel), Adam Holt (Natasha), Alyssa Holt, Kathi Domalski, Bret Black and Marc Black; great grandchildren, Maggie Fredericks, Nadia Philippi, Judah Domini, Brad, Samantha and Meredith Domalski, Jessica Black and Sonny Black; sisters, Elizabeth (Frank "Red") Veres and Anna Kocis; many nieces and nephews; and several grand-dogs and a bird, all who adored her..
