Julia Bernice Spurlock, 76, of Oregon, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 in Toledo Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Toledo, OH on February 21, 1927 to Mark and Ann Smith, who preceded her in death. Julia graduated from Waite High School.
She was employed at Tiedkes and later was a meat
hostess for Joseph's Supermarkets, retiring after 21
years in 1978. Julia married her loving husband, James
E. Spurlock, on February 19, 1966.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her loving husband,
James; devoted daughter, Nancy (Barry) Cole, Sylvania,
OH; grandson, Mark B. Cole, Medina, OH; uncle,
Elsworth Klem, Toledo, OH and cousin, Delbert Diemer,
Ayersville, OH.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road
Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Friday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
