On December 11, 2022, heaven gained an angel. Our daughter, Julie M. Fox, age 50, of Lake Township, entered heaven's gates with such happiness and joy. She loved life but faced many health challenges and was a real inspiration to her family and friends. During Julie's earlier years, she enjoyed taking tap lessons, roller skating, riding her 2 wheel bike, and driving her golf cart. Julie's happiest times were spending time with her brother, sister (in law) her nephew and niece playing board games, Uno and coloring. She was the board game "Sorry" champion. Her kind, genuine and warm personality inspired and affected the hearts of all that knew her best. There was only one "Julie Fox".

Julie graduated from Lake Local Schools in 1994. She also attended Penta Career Center. Julie was associated with the Wood County Board of DD. She was employed by the Lutheran Home of Mercy at the Emmaus Center for several years.

The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring medical staff at the Maumee Bay Davita Center in Oregon, Ohio, the caring drivers of the Black and White Paratransit service and the medical staff at St. Charles Hospital.

Julie is preceded in death by her grandparents Orville L. Fox, Charlotte A. Fox, Edward L. Whitkovic and cousin Lisa Whitkovic Daoust.

Julie is survived by her loving parents, Larry and Judy A. Fox, brother and sister -in-law, Larry T. Fox and Amy L. Fox, nephew, Owen T. Fox and niece, Kinzley G. Fox, and grandmother, Edna I. Whitkovic. She is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley funeral home, 1111 Woodville Rd, Millbury, Ohio 43447, on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be private. Memorial contributions in Julie's name may be made to the Wood County Board of DD or the donor's choice.
