Julius Kovacs 79, of Northwood, OH passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2002 in his home. Julius was born in Toledo, OH on October 6, 1923. He was a retired iron worker, a member of Local #55 for 55 years and an avid fisherman and boater. Julius is survived by his brothers, Ernest of Toledo, OH and Elmer (May) Kovacs of Rossford, OH; sister, Isabel Laney of Deltona, FL; special friend, Carolyn James and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Pier) Kovacs; brothers, Joseph Kovacs and Martin Prekop; sisters, Mary Bumbera and Lola Rohr. A memorial service will be held at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S.
