June Campbell, age 97, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Otterbein Sunset House in Toledo, OH. June was born on February 5, 1929 in Wooton, KY, to Coy and Fannie (Melton) Turner. She attended school at Annville Institute in Annville, KY.

On March 12, 1950, June married the love of her life, Roy Campbell and moved to Toledo, Ohio. She worked at Tillotson and Mead Containers in various accounting positions.

June had a lifelong passion for gardening and took great joy in working in her yard. She especially loved growing tomatoes and roses.

She retired early and was able to assist in caring for her two grandsons. As the grandchildren grew older, she would take all 5 of them on many trips including Sleeping Bear Dunes, Chicago Aquarium, Sauders Village and a big family trip to Disney World. Over the last several years, she found great joy in the visits from her great grandchildren Keira, Harper, Milo, Vito, Brooke, Emma and Jordan. Above all, June cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

June is survived by her daughter, Donna Gottschalk and son, Ronald (Marge) Campbell; grandchildren, Chad (Celia) Gottschalk, Dylan (Michelle) Bitter, Clara (Ryan) Kirkpatrick, Tonya (Jeremy) Brightman, Ashley Foley and sister, Frances Hensley; several great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; and sisters, Elsie Moore and Katherine Elder.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston, Meinert & Palvy Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Rd, on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the start of funeral services at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
