June A. Schober, 100, of Oregon, passed away on October 11, 2016 at the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born in Curtice, Ohio to John and Augusta (Bolander) Nissen on March 5, 1916. June became a Gold Star Mother following the death of her son, Jack. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. June is survived by her children, Carol Rose, Janice (Robert) Valentine and Mike (Rosemary) Schober, Sue (Mark) Bernhardt; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Schober; grandchildren, Christina (David) Schriever, Jackie (Ron) Jurski, Bob (Chris) Valentine, John Valentine, Chance (Margaret) Schober, Brandi (Wesley) Anderson, Matt (Cheri) Schober, Ron (Lori Phillips) Stahl, Lynn (Don) Coburn, Andy (Christy) Schober, Justen (Nikki) Harman, Jack (Carli) Harman; many great-grandchildren whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin; son, Jack; sister, Vivian Kuntz, brother, Glen Nissen; son-in-law, James Rose. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the Lutheran Home at Toledo, 131 N. Wheeling on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery.
