June M. Thaiss, 95, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on March 12, 2008 at Bay Park Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 22, 1912 to the late Fred and Winnie (Dankert) Davenport. June was the widow of Edwin Thaiss  and  a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Erie St..  June lived her life for her cats and will be missed by all friends, two and four legged.  June is survived her daughter, Anna Jean (Robert) Chapman; grandson, Michael Chapman and special friends, Marge Fronizer, Polly Hall and Peggy Weisenburger.        Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, and 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, March 14, 2008  from 2 until 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 pm on Saturday. Interment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions in Junes Memory may be sent to the Toledo Humane Society, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of the donors choice. Visitation: Friday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Saturday, 1:00 p.m.
