Justo C. Maldonado Jr., 68, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Regency Hospital. Justo was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 22, 1947 to Justo and Juanita (Martinez) Sr. He graduated from Scott High School and shortly after married the love of his life Emma (Marquez) on April 26, 1969. He worked at The Andersons for 32 years before retiring. Justo liked watching all Detroit pro sports teams but was and avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed gardening and bowling. His happiest moments were spent with his loved ones. He had a great sense of humor, tremendous work ethic, and took great pride in providing for his family and loved ones. Justo was a loving, caring and respectful man and will truly be missed by all who knew him. Justo is survived by his wife of 46 years, Emma; mother, Juanita; children, Rafael, Antonio and Laura Maldonado; grandchildren, William, Cierra, Anhelica, Miranda and Marquez; sisters, Stella and Gloria; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Antonio; and sister, Isabel. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon, Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 am in Epiphany of the Lord Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 509 Oswald Street, Toledo, Ohio 43605, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Maldonado family.
