Karen S. "Susie" Elder, 67, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 with her loving son by her side. She was born in Fremont, Ohio on August 11, 1954 to Joseph and Mable (Potridge) Elder. Susie worked in the Meijer Deli for many years where she enjoyed interacting with all of the customers. She enjoyed going to the casino and camping. Susie was one of those people that never met a stranger, always wanting to spark up a conversation or offer a generous hug. What she cherished most was being with her family who will dearly miss her. Susie is survived by her son, Christopher (Christine) Elder; grandchildren, Samantha and Carson; step-daughter, Tina Trujillo; step-granddaughters, Sindara and Sierra; siblings, Martha Caris, Debbie Schultze, Joseph Elder, Tina Wolford, Linda Esposito, David Elder; 4 legged companion, Jill; and many nieces, nephews and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael and sisters, Cindy Elder and Janet Everhardt. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on, Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
