Karen S. Haas, 62, of Curtice, Ohio passed away November 5, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 26, 1944 to John and Helen (Chehi) Mihalko. Karen was employed at St. Charles Medical Hospital in the Radiology Department for over 30 years, and was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her work and all the friendships associated with her work. Karen was an avid Buckeyes fan and enjoyed fishing.  She especially enjoyed her family and thought the world of her sons and grandchildren.Karen is survived by her husband of 42 years, Daniel; sons, Gregory (Kelly), Edward and Robert (Jennifer); brother, John Mihalko; sister, Mitzi Georgie; grandchildren, Gregory, Hannah and Lexi; 2 nieces and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.Friends and family may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH 43616 on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 12-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in North Oregon Cemetery.
