Karen D. Kolasinski, 80, of Walbridge, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2023. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana on April 30, 1943 to Herbert and Maxine (Dick) Stephenson. She was married to her husband, Martin for 45 years. Karen's primary occupation was the role of loving and supportive wife and mother to her family through all successes, failures, and experiences through their lives. She also enjoyed clerical work at Lake Local Schools for several years. Karen loves Jesus Christ, attended Compelled Church in Temperance, MI and loved learning about God's Love for us. Karen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dining experiences with close friends and family. In summer months, Karen's favorite times were spent lounging in her swimming pool in relaxing solitude or surrounded by loved ones.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Martin; children, Dawn (Matt) Stidham and Josh (Deliah) Kolasinski; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and siblings Mike (Lin) Stephenson, and Marti (Mike) McCloud. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Diane Stephenson.
Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert and Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Sunday, December 10, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio (www.hospicenwo.org) or Missions at Compelled Church (www.compelled.church).
Karen was deeply loved and she will be dearly missed by many.
