Karen Marie Simon Karen Marie Dupler, loving sister, aunt and friend died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at The Toledo Hospital. The daughter of Paul and Billie (Bliss) Simon, Karen was born August 27, 1951, in Toledo. She graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1969. Karen leaves behind her sisters, "Sisters are Forever", Pat Winkler, Mary (Daniel) Vas, Shelly (Chuck) Simon-Straub; brothers, Trig (Gin) and Mike (Pam) Simon; "KK" to many nieces and nephews; and her very dear friend, Gary Lee Thomas. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary, and brothers, Wayne and Gerry. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio, on Monday, May 26, 2008, from 2-9 p.m. Scripture services will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
