Karen S. Tornow, 53, of Northwood, Ohio passed away September 16, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Oregon, Ohio on August 12, 1960 to Calvin and Shirley (Donley) Barrett. Karen was a Para-professional with the Wood County Educational Services. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Perrysburg, OH. Karen was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Her real love was spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her loving husband, Kevin; children Sara and Andrew; mother, Shirley Barrett; sister, Diane (Paul) Hollinger, and brother, Jeff (Lisa) Barrett; mother and father-in-law, Marcella & Russell Tornow; brother-in-law, Mark (Pam) Tornow; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Karen is also survived by the family dog 'œBuckeye'. Karen was preceded in death by her father. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, on Wednesday & Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, 26535 Pemberville Road, Perrysburg, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. where the family will greet friends one hour prior.
