Katherine A. DeLaGarza, 49, of Toledo, Ohio passed away after beating cancer for the fourth time on December 19, 2017 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Katherine was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 27, 1968 to Stella Escobar-Arce. Katherine enjoyed watching Oakland Raiders football and attending concerts and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Katherine is survived by her children, Anthony A., Phillip E., and Robert P. Roach; siblings, Roseanne, Robert, Paul (Penny), Gloria Escobar; grandson, Matthew C. Roach; long-time boyfriend, James Boyer; along with several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery.
