Katherine J. Rideout, 97, of Oregon, OH  passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 in Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek.  Katherine was born in Independence, LA on January 24, 1909 to Adam and Bertha (Ripp) Fisher. She was employed as a sales clerk with J.C. Penney for 11 years retiring in 1974.  Katherine was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Lotus Chapter and the United Commercial Travelers.   Surviving are her son, Charles (Carole) Rideout; daughters, Barbara (Gerald) Keller, Linda (Joseph) Acerra and Lucy Anton; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years, Oliver; daughter, Judith Cervantes and 9 brothers and sisters.   Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Avenue on Thursday, September 7, 2006 from 3 to 9 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 am with interment following in Willow Cemetery.
