Kathleen Gamble, 71, of Toledo, OH left our world to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 3, 2005. She was born February 20, 1934. Katie attended Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1952. She married James T. Gamble on July 8, 1961. Her former employers included Rink's and Heck's Printing. Kitty was a selfless person and material things meant nothing to her. Family and friends meant everything. She enjoyed bingo, cards, baseball and game shows. Kathleen was a member of St. Louis and St. Thomas Aquinas churches. Surviving are her husband, James T. Gamble; daughters, Lynne Basden (Wayne Appenfelder), Colleen Gamble, Kathy (Phillip) Utter and Patty (Juan) Dominguez; grandchildren, Sandy and Stephanie TenEyck, Samantha and Shannon Barney, Daniel Gamble, Anthony Gonzales, Amanda Gamble, Autumn and Juan Jr. Dominguez; great grandchildren, Breanna McCreary, Alysia Woodard and Ashlee Rucker; sister, Mary Lou (Richard) Shortridge; brother, John (Millie) Best. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Norma Best; brothers, Ed, Tom, Jimmy and Bill Best and great grandson Dameatrius James McCreary. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Foundation for Life or Our Lady of Toledo Shrine.
