Kathleen (Kathi) Ann (Eversden) Hille, 70, of Rockford, Illinois, went to be with her Lord September 7, 2017. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Robert C. and Kathleen M. (Leahy) Eversden on June 1, 1947. Kathi graduated from Clay High School. Kathi and her husband Paul lived on Stadium Road, in Oregon, Ohio for most of their married life. She loved to entertain family and friends in great numbers at their spacious family home. She also volunteered her services as treasurer and other duties for many years at First Alliance Church in Toledo, and accompanied Paul on short-term mission trips to Burkina Faso, Africa and to Thailand. Kathi worked as a legal administrative assistant for twenty years. Her greatest joy was her family. She was so proud of her daughters and loved to spend time with them. Kathi loved to spoil her grandchildren too; she taught them how to bake cakes and cookies and they taught her how to operate her iPad. She enjoyed watching their activities, whether it was sports or music or playing in the yard. Kathi was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, of 43 years. Together they raised two daughters, Janelle (Tristam) Aldridge and Sara (Drew) Popejoy; grandchildren Bryce and Levi Aldridge, and Shelby, Summer, and AJ Popejoy; brother, Thomas (Doris) Eversden, and sister, Mary Ellen (Marion) Meeks. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 12:00pm - 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at First Alliance Church, 2201 Monroe Street, Toledo, Ohio on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 10:00 am where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am. Rev Keith Sholl officiating. Interment will follow at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery.
