Kathleen C. Siminiak, 61 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, January 3, 2003 at Bay Park Community Hospital. Kathleen was born in Toledo On April 5, 1941 to Louis and Mary Szabo. She had worked over 20 years for Riverside Hospital as a Unit Clerk. Kathleen married Edward W. Siminiak on May 28, 1988. She was a very active member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. She and her husband were also former caretakers of the Our Lady of Toledo Queen of Most Holy Rosary Shrine in Oregon. Kathleen enjoyed bowling and was a very avid bowler. She will always be remembered as a very caring and loving person always eager to help others. Surviving are husband, Edward W. Siminiak, children, William L. Taylor, Jayne (Kenneth) Youster, Allan F. (Vicki) Taylor; stepson, Bruce (Barbara) Siminiak; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Ilona (Robert) Miller, Marlene (Michael) Dansack, Loretta Kovacs; brother, Marvin (Eileen) Szabo, sister-in-law Nancy Szabo, Brother-in-law, Steve Makatura. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, step son, Edward A. Siminiak, sister, Marylou Szabo, brother Louis Szabo. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Monday from 2:00-9:00 p.m, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 am and proceeded to St. Catherines Church for mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
