Kathleen Ann (Hillabrand) Hahn Thornton (76) of Roscommon, Mi and previously of Toledo Ohio area passed away on Sunday August 23, 2015. She was born on November 18, 1938 in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Kathleen spent that last several years in Roscommon, Michigan where she made her home with her family and friends. She was formerly from the Toledo Ohio area where she worked as a boiler operator at Sun Oil Refinery in Oregon Ohio. She was a member of United Steel Workers Local 1-346. She graduated 1956 from Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. She enjoyed watching sporting events with her family as long as they were rooting for the same team. She also enjoyed activities at the Senior Center and Am Vets of Higgins Lake especially when she was winning at poker.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Helen (Sass) and Bernard Hillabrand and her sister Judith (Hillabrand) Hall. Surviving are her brother Ronald (Peggy) Hillabrand, Aunt Edith (Ed) Dopieralski, son Gary (Amy) Hahn, son Gregory (Dody) Hahn, daughter Deborah Hahn, and Marie (Hahn) Robinson. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Taylor Kae Hahn, Garyck Hahn, Karl Hahn, Kaeley Hahn, Joshua January, Nikki (Burnno) Momenee, Billy Joe Robinson, Cristina Robinson, and Debbie Kay Robinson.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 1-5 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 am in the funeral home where the family will receive guests after 10 am.
