Kathryn M. Lorigan, 84, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 surrounded by her family. Kathryn was born on January 1, 1930 in Napoleon, Ohio to William and Ethel (Grossman) Cocke. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1948. On October 30, 1954 she married the love of her life Norman James Lorigan, who preceded her in death. Kathryn took great pride in being a mother and grandmother. She especially loved taking trips with her grandchildren and cheering them on at their various sporting events. Kathryn is survived by her children, Carolyn (Al) Bilek, Edward Lorigan, Kenneth Lorigan, Janet (Matthew) DeMeo; sister Barbara McGuire; sister-in-laws Rosemary Knack and Mary Ann Jan; brother-in-law, Edward Lorigan; grandchildren, Cory and Amy Bilek, James and Jody DeMeo; friend Kevin Hatch; and friend and neighbor, Marilyn Osenbaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Charles and Roger Cocke; and sister Bertha Cox. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:30 am.
