Kathryn J. Stemen, 77 of Northwood, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Kathyrn was born on February 6, 1936 in Huttonsville, WV to Warren and Goldie (Simmons) Wamsley. Kathryn previously worked in the Nursery at St. Charles Hospital. Surviving are her children, Debra (Glenn) Iffland and their children, Jeff (Timberlee) & Alisa Iffland; Martin Hickman; Penny (Chester) Reneau and their children, Christy William Hickman and his children, Will Judith (Samuel) Moccabee and their children, Sammy & Ben Moccabee & Katie (Mike Whetstone; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Dorothy Wamsley; long time friends, Dolores Jeskey, Helen Turnow, Julie & Mike Kulakowski. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Warren & Goldie; husband, Victor Stemen; son, Warren Hickman; brother, Arling Wamsley. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday and Saturday from 2:00 until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 1:00 p.m where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
