Katie M. Crowder, 82 of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Katie was born in Speedwell, TN on August 30, 1932 to Jefferson C. and Emma Jane (Beeler) Bean. She was a member of the Neighborhood Freewill Baptist Church. Katie retired from St. Charles Hospital in 1977 where she was employed in the housekeeping department. Surviving are her sons, Charles D. Jr., Michael (Tracy); daughters, Linda Kay, Jane McVicker (Donald); son-in-law, Robert Allen; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Katie is also survived by her extended family and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles D.; daughter, Brenda Allen; son, Robert A.; 6 siblings. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home. Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road and where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
