Katie Lynn Reihing-Nagy, 2 years of Curtice, Ohio, lost her courageous 6 month battle with cancer, Saturday, March 10, 2012. Katie was born on October 8, 2009 in Toledo, Ohio to Shawn Reihing and Heather Nagy. She had many interests, including Elmo, Sponge Bob, and Dora the Explorer. Katie enjoyed helping her dad and Papa in the garage. She also helped her mom and Grandma Nagy clean the house and dance. Katie loved animals and spending time outdoors with her family. She always looked forward to playing with her IPAD with Papa Nagy and watching movies. Katie is survived by her parents; Shawn Reihing and Heather Nagy; grandparents, Jim and Linda Reihing, and Joseph and Sherri Nagy; Godfather and uncle, Tyler Nagy; Godmother, Vicki Forgette; aunts, Renee'™ (Troy) Roth and Dawn (Dave) Heitzman; uncles, Jimmy Reihing, and Jason (Ashley) Reihing, along with many loving family members. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel. Funeral services will begin 1:15 Thursday with prayers in the funeral home and proceed to St. Ignatius Catholic Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 2:00 pm. Memorials in Katie'™s memory may be directed to the Katie Reihing memorial fund in care of 5/3 Bank.
