Keith Koester passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 5th, 2014 in Cape Canaveral Florida. He was born on Nov. 8th, 1957 to Marilyn and Melvin Koester. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Monroe Asphalt in Toledo, Ohio before relocating to Florida. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and whit. He enjoyed cooking and playing good natured pranks on family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn, grandparents Normel and Cleo Jones, sister Nancy, brothers Butch and Melvin, and nephew Austin. He is survived by his father Melvin, daughter Jenette, brothers Walter, Danny and Robert, sisters Deborah Zich, Rebecca (Kevin) Lewis, Nancy (Lou) Takacs, his godchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a celebration of his life in the summer 2015. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Save A Pet or the Humane Society. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
