Kenneth E. Achter, 46, of Oregon passed away November 20, 2003. He was born September 24, 1956 in Oregon, OH to Richard and Donna (Wilson) Achter. Ken was employed by Electro-Cut as a tool and die maker for 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, camping and construction.
Surviving are his parents; children, Dustin, Todd, Cody and their mother, Merry Achter, Oregon, OH; sisters, Karen (Ed) Johansen, Oregon, OH and Connie (Jim) Lind, Oregon, OH; brothers, Timothy (Nancy), Greensboro, NC, Rod (Cindy), Oregon, OH and Roger (MaryAnn), Oregon, OH. Ken was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Jean Achter, and Josephine Wilson.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Saturday from 1-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm. Interment will be private. Contributions in Ken's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Ken's family extends special thanks to Dr. William Horvath, the oncology nurses at St. Vincent Medical Center's Clinic and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care and concern.
