Kenneth M. Brown, 83, of Oregon, Ohio passed away February 28, 2011 in his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 26, 1927 to Carl and Ruby (Dow) Brown. Ken was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He graduated from Waite High School and then from the University of Toledo. Ken remained in Toledo and taught for 28 years at Raymer Elementary and East Toledo Junior High Schools. He was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ. Surviving are his loving wife, Johnnie; children, Kenneth C. (Anne) Brown, Deborah L. (James) Mount and Jill Anne MacKay; grandchildren, Samuel Mount, Bonnie Mount Jacobs, Ashley MacKay and Taylor MacKay. Ken was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Toledo Memorial Park.
