Kenneth C. Cowell, 80, of Oregon, OH passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2003 in Arbors of Oregon. Mr. Cowell was born on February 4, 1923 in Toledo to Clarence and Marie (Kunkel) Cowell. Kenneth was employed for the Northwood School System for 29 years where he served as custodian at the high school until his retirement in 1987. He was an avid golfer and for many years played in local federation baseball and basketball leagues. Surviving are his daughter, Linda (Raymond) Eischen; brothers, Elwood (Mary) and Lester (Marian) Cowell; sister, Margie (Paul) Lindesmith; sister-in-law, Millie Cowell; granddaughter, Cheryl (Gerson) Reyna; grandson, William Bennett Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris; son, Glen Cowell and brother, Clyde. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S.
