Kenneth Paul Grunden 93, of Columbus, Indiana, passed
away on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the Columbus
Health and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus,Indiana.
Kenneth was born to Samuel and Violet Grunden in Hillsdale Michigan on August 2, 1910, one of three sons. He and his wife Eleanor, who preceded him in death, moved to Columbus in 1994. They were members of Faith Lutheran Church in Columbus and St. Mark
Lutheran Church in Toledo. Kenneth was a 1933 graduate of the School of Pharmacy, University of Toledo and
worked in and around the Toledo area as a licensed
pharmacist. He was an active leader of the Senior Adults
group at St. Mark and enjoyed bowling. He married his wife Eleanor on September 2, 1934 and their 65 years of marriage blessed them with three children, Kay Ann Kinsel of Elburn, IL, John BruceGrunden of Woodbridge, VA and Michael Thomas Grunden of Columbus; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and brothers, William and Thomas Grunden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am,
Saturday, January 10, 2004 in St. Mark Lutheran Church
in Toledo with Rev. Beth Giller officiating. Interment
will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial
contributions in Kenneth's memory may be made to St.
Mark Lutheran Church. Local arrangements are being
handled by the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home.
