Kenneth E. Karlene, 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg on Friday, July 4, 2014 with his family at his side. Ken was born on February 24, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Everett and Doris (Saylor) Karlene. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Ken was retired from Local 55 Iron Workers where was employed as a welder. Surviving are his loving wife, Jackie children, Melynda and Eric. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Crozier. Keeping with Kens wishes there will be no visitation and funeral service will be private. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park.
