Kenneth Owen Rhodes, 41, of Toledo, Ohio passed away April 14, 2013 at UTMC. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on October 15, 1971 to Howard L. and Judith (Reed) Rhodes. Ken had been employed at K-Mart, Target and Dominos. He was a member of the Nation Gospel Tabernacle and loved interacting with children. Ken was a talented songwriter, singer and artist. Surviving are his mother, Judith Rhodes (Ronald Hurst); sisters, Maryann Rhodes and Tammy (Mark) Massengill; brothers, Jonathan (Ayla) and Timothy (Amanda) Rhodes; step brother, Ronald II; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Ken was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and nephew, Timothy Rhodes. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, April 19, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor'™s choice. The family extends special thanks to the night shift at St. Charles, Mike and Stacey, both from North Cove Behavioral Hospital for all their care and concern.
