Obituary

Kerry E. Myers, of Oregon, Ohio, left this world on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. She left behind her family, close friends, and her birds. Kerry will be remembered as an artist and a kind and caring person who loved her family, her birds, and a new friend, a small gray cat she recently 'œadopted.' Kerry graduated from Clay Senior High School in 1982 and went on to attend the University of Toledo, where she obtained a degree in computer engineering. She worked for Think Interlink. She also ran a small business called Crafts by Kerry where she drew pictures and made jewelry and decorations which she sold at many local festivals. Kerry enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow vendors and selling her crafts to appreciative customers. Kerry was a member of the Rock and Gem Hound Society where she learned how to create many of the wares she sold. Most importantly, Kerry was an aunt to three nephews and one niece who absolutely adored her '" and she absolutely adored them. The holidays were something special because she always had a craft for all to make and take home. The kids were treated to sparklers every 4th of July. They also knew they had an aunt that enjoyed spending one-on-one time with them. This was quite an accomplishment '" and they loved every minute spent with her. Kerry is survived by her parents, Jack and Mary Myers; uncle, Bill Howorth; brother, Don Myers; sister, Amy (Randy) Schwartz, and their children, Carl, Chris, Andy and Amanda. A private ceremony will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kerry'™s name to the Toledo Botanical Garden, Toledo Zoo, or the Humane Society. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
