Kevin G. Hillabrand, 59 of Walbridge, Ohio passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July 14, 2022 while doing what he loved to do…..working. Born in Toledo, Ohio on July 30, 1962 to William and Drema ( Demers) Hillabrand. In 1998 Kevin left his job and started his own very successful company, Hillabrand and Sons Construction. Kevin enjoyed working with his sons and his employees on a daily basis, he would not expect any of his employees to do things that he would not do himself. You would find him along the side of employees working together on many job sites, with that work ethic, is what made his company thrive. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know him knew he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone without ever expecting anything in return. An avid drag racing and Nascar fan as well Cleveland Browns fan he loved to tailgate and cheer his team on. Above everything family was the most important thing in his life. He was a faithful member of Main Street Church. Kevin his survived by his sons, Josh (Ashley) and Greg (Julie); mother, Drema Demers; Grandchildren, Miley, Cora, Austyn, Calli, siblings Kirk, Bill, Brent and Celeste. Kevin was preceded in death by father; grandson Griffin Hillabrand Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Glass City Boardwalk, 27820 E. Broadway St., Walbridge, Ohio; with luncheon to follow. A procession will leave from the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am and process to Glass City Boardwalk, traveling past The Hillabrand and Sons Construction shop as well as future headquarters. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider The Griffin James Hillabrand Foundation which was created to honor his late Grandson.
