Kim Lynn Barney, 46, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on July 13, 1970 in Toledo, Ohio. Kim graduated from Clay High School in 1988. She worked at St. Charles Hospital and most recently at Toledo Hospital as a Unit Clerk/NA in the SICU. Kim was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved the beach and enjoyed baking and cooking. Kim is survived by her daughter, Alyson (Jeremy) Kitzler; grandchildren, Jaxson and Gracie Lynn; spouse, John Takacs; step-children, Maddy and Aaron; best friends, Dale and Jeffrey; mother, Darla Hufford; sisters, Jill (Jim) Lake and Karis (Tom) Phillips; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Ivy and Betty Hamilton. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, July 1 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
