Kimberly Jean Hallock-LaFountaine, 58, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 13, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, to Thomas and Ruth (Gahler) Hallock.

Kimberly married Daniel LaFountaine on January 18, 1992, and he survives.

After graduating from Clay High School in 1986, Kimberly went on to earn her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Findlay in 2011.

Kimberly was a devoted and faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she found great joy in serving others. She enjoyed researching, scouting with her children, crafting, teaching Sunday school, and helping seniors at the Senior Center learn how to navigate and use computers.

Kimberly had a generous heart and a genuine desire to help others. One of the qualities her family and friends cherished most was that she was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the circumstance. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to serve others touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her husband, Daniel; her children, Derek (Sydney) LaFountaine and Anna (Andy) Walsh; her granddaughter, Skylar; her mother, Ruth Hallock; her sister, Kelly Gambill; and her brother, Richard (Michelle) Hallock. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hallock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kimberly's honor may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or the Arthritis Foundation.

A funeral service to honor Kimberly's life will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 5757 Starr Ave, Oregon, OH 43616, on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11 am.
