Kyla Kay Brown, 8, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 from injuries sustained from an auto accident. Kyla was born on April 17, 2013 in Toledo, Ohio to Jerren Brown and Caitlin Woodbury. Kyla was a third grader at Navarre Elementary School in east Toledo. Everyone she met became her friend and loved by all. Her desire was to become a singer, because of her love for music. Kyla is survived by her parents Jerren and Caitlin; grandparents, Annette Buckner, Keith Woodbury, Joseph (Christina Price) Brown II, Evelyn (Carl Comstock) Brown; great grandparents, Keith Stotler, Darlene (Howard) Braddock; Uncles, Joseph Brown III, Devon Buckner, Jacob Brown, Schayne Gaskalla, Schawn Gaskalla; aunts, Kayla Buckner-Moore, Trista Brown, Hannah Imm, Brittany Woodbury, Dezyrae Woodbury, Schaylynn Gaskalla, Schaylee Gaskalla, Schawna Gaskalla. Also surviving are many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 19, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Kyla's family.
