Lai Han Lau (law) of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 6, 2022. She was born in Guanzao, China and immigrated here with her husband, Bor and son Joseph in 1974. She began working at The Surf Supper Club until 1978. Along with in-laws, Sidney and Sue Yee, parents of Barbara, opened the Golden Jade, working many hours providing good food for all to enjoy throughout the years. After retiring, Lai traveled to many places by boat and plane with her beloved husband, Bor. Lai is survived by sons, Thomas (Catherine) and Joseph (Barbara), Grandchildren, Lex (Jenny), Melina (Derek) and Jadie (John) and Great Grandson, Jacob. Lai was preceded in death by her husband, Bor, and brother, Chung Moon. Funeral services will be private and assisted by Eggleston Meinert & Pavley in Oregon, Ohio. The family would like to give a heart felt thank you to Burse, Elizabeth, Homecare Aid, Lisa, Social Assistant, Patrick of Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Perrysburg for the compassionate care Lai was given.
