LaRita J. "Tootie" McDonald, 69, of Toledo, OH passed away January 26, 2004 in Toledo Hospital. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Toledo, OH to Marcus and Wilma (Barnes) Harris. LaRita was the widow of Philip McDonald, who passed away in 1971. She was employed as a canteen manager with Gladieux Foods at Jeep Corp. and was associated with Eagles Wings Christian Church (Macomer Bldg.), the Toledo Area Ceramics Club and the UAW. Surviving are her daughters, Raylene Hill, Oregon, OH and Marsha Howard, Toledo, OH; son, Randell McDonald, Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Timothy (Bridgit) Smith, Jason Smith, Tori Desmond, Steven (Jennifer) Hill, Jamie McDonald and Dustin McDonald; great grandchildren, Tyler, Trenton, Terry Jordan, Casey, Ma'Kayla and Dominiq. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday, January 29, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
