Larnell T. Vartice, 72, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004, in his home. He was born on May 16, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, to Larnell and Agnes (Wrobel) Vartice. Larnell was a machine operator for 38 years with Libbey Glass, retiring in 1988. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Larnell was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, and is survived by his son, William Vartice. There will be no visitation or services. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Assn. or Make a Wish Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Homes.
