Larry R. Cowell, 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 6, 1956 to Marvin and Mildred (Myers) Cowell. He graduated from Waite High School in 1975. He worked for the Toledo Public School System for many years. In his younger years, Larry loved coaching his sons' basketball and baseball teams. He was an umpire for over 30 years and was part of the Chain Gang at Waite High School as well. Larry enjoyed playing poker, pool and bowling. He was an avid Los Angeles Rams and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He is survived by his son, Josh (Jennifer) Cowell; siblings, Norm and Zip Cowell; nieces, Brandi and Angie; nephews, Marvin and Eddie; and brother-in-law, Patrick Flanagan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, James, Bev, Diane, Linda and Judy. In accordance with Larry's wishes, there will be no services.
