Larry B. Hallauer, 79, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on September 23, 2015 at home. Larry was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 11, 1936 to Albert and Nina (Gladiuex). He married Jean (McDannold) on March 28, 1959, and they were happily married for 50 years before her passing in 2011. They retired in 1988 to Spring Hill, FL where he lived until earlier this year. He is a US Army Veteran and was a Toledo Police officer for 25 years, retiring in 1988 as a Sergeant. Larry is survived by his children, Michelle (Chris) Schwind, Dean (Michele) Hallauer; grandchildren, Mandy, Casey and Brandon; his brother and 4 sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, stepfather, 2 brothers and a sister. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will take place on Monday at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
